BusyCal 2024.3.3
BusyCal 2024.3.3 has been released and is available for download. We stagger our roll-outs, so in case you don't see one available within the app, feel free to download the latest trial version directly.
Release Notes
- 🆕 You can now configure individual calendars to prevent meeting invitations from appearing in the Inbox (double-click on a calendar to change options)
- 🆕 New edit options for repeating events: repeat on work days, bi-weekly, bi-monthly or quarterly
- 🆕 Birthday calendars can be configured to show death anniversaries if a death date is detected in Contacts (see Settings > General)
- 🆕 A keyboard shortcut can now be configured to display the BusyCal Alarm Window
- ✨ All-day event titles now display at all times when scrolling horizontally in the week view
- ✨ Hex codes are now sorted below tag names in the Tag Editor
- ✨ Natural language parsing improvements

- 🔨 Fixed a bug where smart filters based on "tags or categories" would not filter correctly
- 🔨 Fixed a bug where custom keyboard shortcuts for menu commands would not work immediately after launching the app
- 🔨 Fixed a bug where dragging and dropping events on the mini calendar would fail if the left panel was stretched to exceed the calendar's width
- 🔨 Fixed an issue where the app was unable to read from disk for some users after restoring macOS from Time Machine

How to install the update
The update is free for all BusyCal customers with a valid license and is available now.
- Direct customers can update by selecting Check for Updates from the BusyCal menu.
- New users can download the BusyCal 30-Day Trial.
- Mac App Store users can download the update directly from the store page once it's been reviewed and approved by Apple
- Setapp users can launch the Setapp app and select Check for Updates from the Setapp menu
In case you own a direct, perpetual copy and your license has expired, you can extend your license from here to receive an additional 18 months of updates.
