Google Calendar sync end-of-life for BusyCal 1.6 and BusySync 2.3
This is an important announcement for customers using old BusyMac apps to sync with Google Calendar. BusyCal 1.6 and BusySync 2.3 use the GData v1 API for syncing with Google Calendar.
Google has deprecated the GData v1 API and shut it down on November 17, 2014. This means that BusyCal 1.6 and BusySync 2.3 users can no longer sync with Google Calendar.
If you are using one of these apps to sync with Google Calendar, you will need to find an alternative such as BusyCal 2.6 or Apple iCal, both of which sync with Google using the CalDAV protocol.
Note: BusyCal 2.6 requires OS X 10.9 Mavericks or 10.10 Yosemite (BusyCal 2.5 will run on 10.8 Mountain Lion). If you're running an older OS, you will have to use iCal.
