Google Calendar API v1 shutting down on Nov. 17, 2014
This is an important announcement for customers using old BusyMac apps to sync with Google Calendar. BusyCal 1.6 (3 years old) and BusySync 2.3 (4 years old) use the GData v1 API for syncing with Google Calendar.
Google has deprecated the GData v1 API and will be shutting it down on November 17, 2014. This means that BusySync 2.3 and BusyCal 1.6 users will be unable to sync with Google Calendar after November 17, 2014.
If you are using one of these apps to sync with Google Calendar, you will need to find an alternative such as BusyCal 2.6 or Apple iCal, both of which sync with Google using the CalDAV protocol. Note: BusyCal 2.6 requires OS X 10.9 Mavericks or 10.10 Yosemite. If you're running an older OS, you will have to use iCal.
