Customizing keyboard shortcuts
You can override the keyboard shortcuts for any app, including BusyContacts, in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts.
For example, if you wanted to change the shortcut key for the New Contact menu item on the File menu from ⌘-N to Control-N, you would do this:
- Open System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts.
- Click on App Shortcuts in the left sidebar.
- Click the + button.
- Choose BusyContacts from the Application menu.
- Enter "New Contact" without the quotes in the Menu Title field.
- Type Control-N in the Keyboard Shortcut field.
- Click Add.
Now, when you click on the File menu in BusyContacts you'll see that the New Contact menu command uses the new keyboard shortcut of Control-N.
Note: When creating keyboard shortcuts you must be careful not to create conflicts with any existing keyboard shortcuts.
