How can I get access to a pre-release version of BusyCal / BusyContacts?
You can take part in beta testing voluntarily by enabling it in Settings
The following steps will only work if you have downloading a direct copy from our website. If you're using a Mac App Store / Setapp version, you will unfortunately not be able to join beta.
If you would like to test an available beta version of BusyContacts or BusyCal:
- Open Settings
- Click on the Updates tab
- Enable "including beta releases".
Now click on the BusyCal menu > Check for updates
There isn't always a pre-release version available to test, however if there is one in the works, you will be able to gain access to it earlier and thus take part in initial screening.
As always, please bear in mind that all pre-release software can be (and usually is) buggy. Normally our aim is to post stable, high-quality builds, however there are always exceptions.
